PJ City beat Pahang in Super League match

PEMAIN PJ CITY FC meraikan jaringan gol ketika menentang Pahang

SHAH ALAM: Last season’s Super League runners-up Pahang were beaten by Petaling Jaya City (PJ City) 2-3 in the Super League encounter at the UiTM Stadium on Friday (March 6).

The Phoenixes first scored through Aboubacar Demba Camara in the 11th minute, but Pahang were quick to respond when their captain Dickson Nwakaeme buried a penalty two minutes later.

In the second half, Pahang took the lead through Brazilian striker Ivan Carlos in the 50th minute. That lead lasted only eight minutes when R. Barathkumar equalised.

Substitute R. Kogileswaran was the hero for PJ City when he curled in a beautiful freekick in the dying stages of the game.

It is Pahang’s second successive defeat in the league, while it is PJ City’s first win of the season.
